Anabell Castro Thompson, MSN, APRN, NP-C, FAANP, FAAN, is Senior Vice President of Culture and Care Transformation at Suvida Healthcare. She leads enterprise-wide initiatives to enhance trust, care navigation, satisfaction, and clinical coordination across diverse patient populations. A seasoned Nurse Executive and health equity strategist, she is nationally recognized for her work advancing culturally responsive care and closing gaps in access and outcomes for Latino and underserved communities.


A Fellow of both the American Academy of Nursing and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, Anabell brings more than two decades of leadership at the intersection of clinical innovation, community engagement, and policy reform. She is the architect of transformative programs that drive measurable improvements in patient engagement, trust, cost-efficiency, and health equity.


Anabell is a former President of the National Association of Hispanic Nurses (NAHN), the Latina Strong Foundation and is the creator of the Social Cultural Risk Assessment (SCRA)—a validated, evidence-based tool designed to assess social determinants of health and cultural constructs known to impact health within Latino communities.


Widely recognized for her thought leadership, Anabell has received numerous national honors and has been named a distinguished alumna by both the University of Arizona and Arizona State University.
