Simmy King, DNP, MS, MBA, NI-BC, NE-BC, CHSE, FAAN, FAONL, is Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer at Riley Children’s Health. As a nurse leader, educator, and informaticist, she is recognized for her expertise in digital transformation, nursing transition to practice, education, and wellness strategies. Nationally, she is a prominent voice in nursing informatics, actively contributing to key committees and task forces.

Dr. King has served as a board member of the American Organization for Nursing Leadership, the Virginia Organization for Nurse Leaders, and the DC Board of Nursing. She currently serves as President of the American Board of Nursing Artificial Intelligence, as a member of the American Academy of Nursing AI Task Force and the AONL Leadership, Innovation, Technology, and Transformation Committee, and as a Commissioner on the ANCC Commission for Magnet.
