Christine Grady, PhD, RN, FAAN, a nurse-bioethicist, is currently serving as Professor of Neuroscience and Senior Advisor to the Executive Vice President for Health Sciences, Georgetown University School of Medicine; Research Scholar, Kennedy Institute of Ethics; and Affiliated Faculty, Department of Philosophy, Georgetown University. She previously served as Chair of the Department of Bioethics at the NIH Clinical Center and senior investigator in the NIH intramural research program.

Her research focuses primarily on clinical research ethics, international research ethics, neuroethics, and ethical issues faced by healthcare providers. She is an elected fellow of the Hastings Center and the American Academy of Nursing and an elected member of the National Academy of Medicine. Previously, Dr. Grady served as a Commissioner on the Presidential Commission for the Study of Bioethical Issues.
