Lili Deng is the Dean of the School of Nursing at Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine.


Dr. Deng is dedicated to advancing and disseminating techniques based on Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Her primary goal is to enhance the quality of nursing care while promoting global recognition of TCM nursing practices. She and her team have led a series of research projects focusing on TCM treatments for kidney disease, addressing critical clinical challenges in the field of nephrology. Through these efforts, they have significantly refined ten TCM techniques and established a comprehensive treatment system for kidney disease. These methods have been widely disseminated through various initiatives, including basic and advanced training programs as well as national and provincial academic seminars. Furthermore, Dr. Deng has made significant contributions to the development of TCM-related medical devices; the thirteen patented TCM devices she developed have all received national-level approval. Dr. Deng’s research steadfastly adopts a "people-oriented and patient-centered" approach, yielding significant social and economic benefits.
