Teresa Connolly serves as the Senior Vice President and Enterprise Chief Nurse Executive at HonorHealth, where she leads nursing practice across nine hospitals, more than 200 outpatient clinics, and the Center for Clinical Excellence. In this role, she is responsible for strategic planning, workforce development, clinical governance, and advancing nursing excellence across the continuum of care. Dr. Connolly brings over 35 years of healthcare experience, including 27 years in executive leadership at Mayo Clinic. She has led major healthcare transformations, including the launch of Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City in Abu Dhabi during the COVID-19 pandemic, and the integration of Mayo Clinic Arizona’s Department of Nursing into a cross-continuum model. Her leadership has driven operational growth, improved clinical outcomes, and fostered innovation in both domestic and international settings. She has served on numerous boards, including The Patient Company and the Arizona Medical Board, and is a recognized thought leader in evidence-based practice and healthcare strategy. Dr. Connolly earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice and Master of Science in Nursing from Loyola University Chicago, and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, where she was honored as a Distinguished Alumni in 2023.
