Priscilla J. Murphy is the Founder and CEO of Nylex Educational & Counseling Services, Inc., where she leads innovative initiatives in mental health education, advocacy, and clinical care. As a dual-licensed therapist and registered nurse, she has dedicated her career to bridging the gap between physical and mental health. Ms. Murphy is nationally recognized for her signature mental health forum, “Check-Up from the Neck Up,” which has educated Fortune 500 companies, healthcare systems, and community organizations across the country. These forums foster workplace wellness, reduce stigma, and promote early intervention. A passionate advocate for nurse-led mental health screenings, she has trained nurses nationwide in the use of evidence-based tools such as the PHQ-9 and Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) questionnaire. Her work has advanced early identification of mental health concerns and increased utilization of Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs) and primary care support. Ms. Murphy is the Immediate Past National President of Chi Eta Phi Sorority, Inc., a national nursing organization, and is a Registered Parliamentarian. She serves on the Delaware Behavioral Health Consortium, helping shape statewide mental health policy. She holds a BSN from Widener University and dual master’s degrees in clinical counseling and education from Wilmington University.
