Nancy Mannion is President of NMB Global Leadership, LLC and a world-leader in emergency nursing and leadership development. As an experienced nurse leader, Dr. Mannion influences clinical and professional practice across the globe. She has guided healthcare organizations in Asia, Europe and the Middle East on their journey to be accountable care organizations resulting in improved patient experience and leadership accountability. As a section editor for International Nursing in the Journal of Emergency Nursing, she enables writers to disseminate best practice, evidence-based nursing with a global view. Dr. Mannion has an extensive history of presentation on topics related to emergency nursing, leadership, and healthcare innovation. Dr. Mannion’s inclusive leadership style is demonstrated in her many experiences as an association leader, allowing each Board member to be heard, while remaining focused in achieving the strategic outcomes of these organizations. As Chair of the Nurses on Boards Coalition (NOBC), she champions health equity efforts to ensure NOBC achieves its strategic goal of improving the health of communities through the service of nurses on boards. During her tenure as President of the Emergency Nurses Association, she advocated to address workplace violence and Emergency Department crowding. Dr. Mannion earned her DNP from Waynesburg University, MSN from the University of Maryland Baltimore, and BSN from Salem State College. Dr. Mannion is a candidate for United States Congress in Pennsylvania.
