Minhui Liu is Professor and Dean of the School of Nursing at Ningxia Medical University. Dr. Liu focuses on health promotion, behavioral interventions, and smart care innovations to reduce disability and enhance quality of life among older adults in China. He has led 14 national and international research projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, and other organizations. He validated the effectiveness and cultural adaptability of global evidence-based aging programs in Chinese communities and introduced “lifestyle-integrated interventions” as an alternative to traditional approaches. His research has been recognized with the Hunan Nursing Science and Technology Award and implemented in communities in Beijing and Changsha. The impact of his work is multidisciplinary and has been cited across nursing, gerontology, and public health. He serves as Associate Editor of Geriatric Nursing, is on the editorial boards of BMC Nursing and BMC Geriatrics, and advises the Asian Development Bank and national academic committees in nursing and aging. He received his BSN from Henan University, undertook master’s studies at Central South University, earned his PhD in Nursing (Statistics) from the University of Washington, and completed postdoctoral training at Johns Hopkins University.
