Lingli Peng is Nursing Division Supervisor at Xiangya Hospital, Central South University, Master’s Supervisor at the Xiangya School of Nursing, Vice Chair of the Orthopedic Nursing Committee of the Chinese Nursing Association, and Associate Editor of the International Journal of Orthopedic and Trauma Nursing. Dr. Peng has deep expertise in the field of fragility fracture care. Addressing the high mortality risk of hip fractures in China's aging society, she actively participates in global nursing collaborations. She co-developed the International Consensus on Fragility Hip Fractures and established China's first national consensus, as well as compiled numerous theoretical works on fragility fracture care. Leveraging the National Clinical Research Center for Geriatric Disorders (Xiangya), she developed and promoted the "Appropriate Nursing Technology Program for Geriatric Hip Fractures" which has been implemented in hundreds of hospitals. In clinical deterioration management, she developed an early-warning system calibrated for Chinese patients, created the nation’s first AI-based risk tool, now adopted country-wide. Additionally, Dr. Peng has presented her research findings at numerous international conferences. She earned her PhD from Central South University, was a Chia Fellow at Yale School of Nursing, and a visiting scholar at Flinders University.
