Justin DiLibero is the Dean of the Rhode Island College Zvart Onanian School of Nursing, where he leads the BSN, MSN, and DNP programs serving approximately 1,000 students. He is a distinguished academic leader and a past president of the New England Association of Clinical Nurse Specialists. Currently, Dr. DiLibero chairs the Board of Trustees for the Clinical Nurse Specialist Institute and has previously served on the boards of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses and the AACN Certification Corporation. An accomplished researcher and leader, he has authored numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals and presents regularly at national conferences. His contributions to nursing have earned him several prestigious awards, including the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center Excellence in Medical Critical Care Award, the Excellence in Advanced Practice Nursing Award, and the Rhode Island College Exceptional Faculty Award. In 2022, he was honored as the Nurse of the Year in an Academic Setting by the Rhode Island State Nursing Association. Dr. DiLibero holds a dual Master’s of Science in Nursing Degree from the University of Cincinnati, specializing in Adult/Gerontology Acute Care Clinical Nurse Specialist and Nurse Educator, and a Doctor of Nursing Practice Degree from Northeastern University.
