Julia Rogers is a dedicated nurse practitioner and educator with over 17 years of experience specializing in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. Currently serving as Associate Professor and Coordinator of the Doctorate Program at Purdue University Northwest, she advances nursing education at doctoral and undergraduate levels. Dr. Rogers is a fellow of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and represents the American Nurses Association on the American Medical Association's CPT Health Care Professionals Advisory Committee. Dr. Rogers hosts the NP POW Videocasts for The Nurse Practitioner and coordinates the journal's billing and coding column. She has authored three pathophysiology textbooks, including the first edition 3Ps for Advanced Healthcare Providers. Her research interests encompass advanced pathophysiology education, integration of interactive visualizations and AI in nursing education, and nurse faculty orientation and workload issues. Dr. Rogers' publications cover pulmonary disease and nursing education topics, and she frequently presents at national conferences on subjects relevant to nurse practitioners and educators. Her contributions to nursing education and practice reflect her passion for fostering excellence in the profession. Dr. Rogers obtained her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Valparaiso University and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Purdue University.
