Jianfei Xie serves as Professor, Doctoral Supervisor, and Deputy Director of Nursing Department at the Third Xiangya Hospital, Central South University. As an active member of the International Society of Nurses in Cancer Care (ISNCC) and a member of the Oncology Nursing Special Committee of the Chinese Nursing Association, she champions equitable mental healthcare for vulnerable populations. Her pioneering research on the psychological distress experienced by young Chinese cancer patients has informed NCCN Clinical Practice Guidelines. She developed an "Internet + Psychological Care" platform to extend mental rehabilitation resources to rural communities, and led behavioral therapy training for grassroots healthcare workers in underserved regions. Dr. Xie has designed a three-dimensional talent development system that transformed specialist nurse training, and edited the Psycho-Oncology textbook for the Master's programme in China. By spearheading interdisciplinary policy initiatives with global partners, she amplifies the nursing's voice in mental health policy reform. Her work embodies a compassionate dedication to bridging healthcare disparities through innovation, education, and systemic advocacy. Dr. Xie received her BSN, MS and PhD degrees from the Central South University.
