Fang Zhou is Dean and Professor of Nursing at Xuzhou Medical University, leading China’s nationally top-ranked undergraduate nursing program and doctoral discipline development. Her work advances innovations across nursing education, evidence-based practice, and specialized care models. As a pioneer in anesthesia nursing, she established China’s foundational training framework for this specialty and authored core textbooks adopted by nursing schools nationwide. Her evidence-based protocols for chronic disease management (e.g., pain, functional disorders) and cancer survivorship care (addressing CAR-T therapy symptom clusters) have informed the development of hospital clinical pathways and educational content. She significantly advanced nursing education by creating nationally accredited virtual simulation platforms and competency frameworks. Her leadership in multidisciplinary chronic care models bridges research and practice to enhance patient care. Supported by 14 national grants, her work yields 50+ publications, 6 textbooks, and 2 patents applied in healthcare settings.
