Blake K. Smith is a nursing informatics and clinical documentation expert currently serving at Nebraska Medicine as a Clinical Documentation Senior Analyst, where he leads quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing clinical workflows and patient care delivery. His work involves optimizing electronic health record systems, improving discharge processes, and advancing regulatory compliance across hospital systems. Mr. Smith’s contributions to health literacy and patient education have also been integral to improving patient outcomes. He has also demonstrated a strong commitment to leadership, equity, and inclusion, serving as the youngest president of the American Association for Men in Nursing (AAMN).
