Bethany Roberston serves as the Clinical Executive for Wolters Kluwer’s division of Health, Learning, Research and Practice. Dr. Robertson is a consultant with over 150 healthcare systems and academic organizations, globally, around workforce development challenges and solutions. She is a thought leader in developing educational models and advising on building large-scale infrastructures to support healthcare professional capacity-building. She is a clinical professor at The Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing at Emory University where she teaches in the DNP program. he has held numerous roles as a Certified Nurse Midwife, Chief Nursing Officer, and Vice President/Chief Learning Officer, with decades of experience in building standalone programs or academic practice partnerships to meet workforce gaps. Her research/teaching has focused on quality, safety and interprofessional education (IPE)/collaborative practice and holds two editorial positions both focusing on IPE. She serves in key organizations; the National Board of Medical Examiners, American Interprofessional Health Collaborative, the National Center for Interprofessional Practice and Education, and the National Alliance for Quality Care. She is a Distinguished Scholar Fellow in the National Academy of Practice. Dr. Robertson obtained her DNP from the Medical College of Georgia, MSN from Emory University and her BSN from the University of Virginia.
