Dr. Stanley's major contributions span a distinguished 20-year military nursing career and significant academic leadership. Her military service included progressive roles culminating as Administrative Officer for the Navy Surgeon General and Associate Director of Primary Care at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth, with overseas deployments advancing maternal-child health, primary care, and pain management across diverse global populations. Transitioning to academia, she established herself as an innovative educator and scholar, authoring 14+ peer-reviewed publications advancing telehealth implementation, pregnancy care, and maternal health disparities while developing groundbreaking telehealth education models.
