Gregg Springan is the Vice President of Clinical Services and Nurse Executive at Diligent Robotics in Austin, Texas. In his role at Diligent he leads teams focused on the intersection of robotic technology and clinical practice with an emphasis on user experience and ensuring that product is meeting the unique needs of clinical settings. His areas of focus include: integrations with key technologies in hospitals, such as electronic health records and clinical communications and collaboration systems; improving the end user experience; and care team redesigns. As a critical care nurse turned industry partner, Mr. Springan is a career-long advocate for introducing and embedding clinical expertise into healthcare companies with a goal of reducing clinician burden, giving clinicians time back with patients, and bringing joy to their clinical practice.

Prior to joining Diligent, Mr. Springan was a Nurse Executive at Epic Systems Corporation in Verona, Wisconsin, an industry leading electronic health records company, where he led nursing strategy, drove key client acquisitions across the globe, and advised on product direction. As an expert in the IT field, he frequently offers thought leadership on issues related to nursing on global and national levels. Mr. Springan received his Masters of Science in Nursing from Loyola University of Chicago, his Bachelors of Science in Nursing from the University of Mary in Bismarck, North Dakota, and is a Harold Schafer Leadership Academy scholar.
