Dr. Candy Wilson is a tenure-track Associate Professor at the Christine E. Lynn College of Nursing at Florida Atlantic University. She is a retired US Air Force Colonel and women’s health nurse practitioner. While in the military, Dr. Wilson garnered over $18M in Federal research funding and published 53 peer-reviewed articles. Her work has informed US Congress and other Department of Defense (DoD), Department of Veterans Affairs, and Federal leaders. One of deployments during Operation Enduring Freedom to Afghanistan, she provided healthcare to local women and children in remote villages. She continues to inform DoD research.
