Ya-Chu Hsiao is a Professor at the Chang Gung University of Science and Technology, School of Nursing. Dr. Hsiao has served as the Director of Research and Development and International Exchange Center at CGUST, playing a key role in elevating CGUST's nursing research to a global ranking of 51-100. Her initiatives include creating five healthcare research centers and establishing international collaboration systems, providing opportunities for faculty and students to become part of an international team of nursing experts. This work has increased research productivity and international cooperation among nurses in Taiwan. Dr. Hsiao's personal research in spirituality has secured research funding and produced spirituality tools that are used in both research and practice. Her research outcomes have contributed to the development of spiritual care guidelines, impacting nursing education and clinical practice. Dr. Hsiao received her BSN from Kaohsiung Medical University, her MS from National Taiwan University, and EdD from National Taiwan Normal University.
