Tieying Shi

Tieying Shi is a leader in the field of mental health, particularly focused on psychological care for breast cancer (BC) patients. Ms. Shi initiated pioneering research on "post-traumatic growth" among BC patients in China, which led to the development of a diathesis-stress interaction model. This model has been instrumental in creating a psychosocial care program aimed at aiding the mental health recovery of patients. As a nursing manager, she has also addressed the psychological needs of healthcare staff, expanding her influence beyond patient care to include the wellbeing of medical professionals. Her contributions have had a significant impact on the field of psychological nursing nationally. Ms. Shi's work continues to shape the standards and practices of mental health care, ensuring comprehensive support for both patients and healthcare providers. She earned her Medical Master in Dalian Medical University, majored in Social Medicine and Health Management.
