Memnun Seven is an assistant professor at University of Massachusetts Amherst. Dr. Seven has more than 20 years of experience as a practicing nurse, educator and researcher. As a nurse scientist, her research focuses on understanding multilevel influences contributing to health disparities in cancer survivorship care, including psycho-social determinants of health and health behaviors through multidisciplinary community-based research approaches to improve the quality of life of people affected by cancer. Her research has been funded by professional organizations and federal agencies in Turkey, Europe and the USA. Dr. Seven has published widely and presented locally, internationally on nurse-led interventions with community-engaged translational approaches for people affected by cancer and chronic health conditions. Dr. Seven holds BSN, MSN and PhD from Gulhane Military Medical Academy, Ankara, Turkiye.
