Marianne Biangone

Marianne Biangone is a Clinical Professor and Assistant Dean for Curriculum and Program Evaluation at the University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Biangone is a Clinical Professor at the University of California, San Francisco School of Nursing, and serves as the Assistant Dean for Curriculum and Program Evaluation. Additionally, she is co-director of Workforce Development at the UCSF Health System. Dr. Biangone is committed to strengthening the diversity of the nursing workforce with a focus on faculty and the environments in which students learn. Her research is dedicated to exploring the various factors that impact nursing students' academic performance, focusing on developing strategies and tools to enhance a student’s overall resilience, wellness, and achievement. Dr. Biangone focuses on supporting workforce diversity by elevating the success of students from low-income and marginalized backgrounds. She utilizes a two-pronged approach through direct student engagement and indirectly by shaping the educational framework that supports their success. Dr. Biangone holds a PhD from William Carey University, an MSN from California State University, Dominquez Hill, a BSN from Slippery Rock University, and a Diploma from St. Francis Hospital School of Nursing.
