Kelli Garber is a Clinical Assistant Professor and the DNP Advanced Practice Program Director at Old Dominion University School of Nursing. As a pediatric clinical practice leader and policy influencer, Dr. Garber leads the way in defining quality virtual care. Nationally recognized as a telehealth expert, Dr. Garber impacts the future of healthcare by developing, implementing, and disseminating telehealth best practices and policy expertise. A pioneer in school-based telehealth, she is passionate about developing programs to improve health equity and increase access to care for the rural and underserved. Her highlighted works include publications in peer-reviewed journals, book chapters, and invited national and international presentations. She is also an accomplished leader in state and national organizations. A Pediatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner for over 28 years, Dr. Garber received her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Old Dominion University, her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from the University of Maryland, and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from the Johns Hopkins University.
