Jinhee Park

Jinhee Park is an associate professor at Boston College's Connell School of Nursing, focusing her research on feeding issues in infants and young children with complex health conditions. Her goal is to improve their health and developmental outcomes while aiding families in managing their challenging feeding needs. Dr. Park has led multiple interdisciplinary projects, securing $3.4 million from federal agencies and foundations. Her recent NIH-funded study explores how side-lying positioning affects feeding in preterm infants, offering critical insights for cost-effective interventions in NICUs. She has pioneered precise methods to assess the physiological origins of feeding difficulties, advancing understanding in this field. She co-developed reliable feeding assessment tools widely adopted in global clinical practice and research. Her impactful findings have influenced healthcare policies, featured in prestigious nursing and interdisciplinary journals, and presented at major national and international conferences. With over 1,200 citations globally, Dr. Park's work highlights her significant contributions to improving health outcomes for children facing feeding challenges. Dr. Park earned her BSN and MS from the Catholic University of Korea, her PhD from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Nursing, and completed her Postdoctoral Fellowship at Duke University School of Nursing.
