Jessica “Jess” S. Dillard-Wright (she/they) is the Associate Dean for Equity and Inclusion at University of Massachusetts Amherst Elaine Marieb College of Nursing. An affiliate of the UMass IALS Center for Personalized Health Monitoring, Dr. Dillard-Wrigth co-leads the ethics arm of Health Tech for the People, a collaborative research initiative. She/they were also a 2023 Public Interest Technology fellow, working on communicating complex ideas about technology for health, focused on reproductive health and death care. Dr. Dillard-Wright was a fellow for the University of California Irvine Center for Nursing Philosophy and is currently the associate editor for the journal Nursing Philosophy. She/they serves on the American Nurses Association Ethics Advisory Board. She/they work in collaboration with folks across the country and around the world to first imagine and then build worlds that are just, equitable, sustainable.
