CAPT Jerrol B. Wallace is a Commissioned Officer in the United States Navy and is the Commandant of the Graduate School of Nursing (GSN) at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS) and Senior Military Leader and member of the Dean’s Cabinet and Extended Leadership Team that develops and implements policy, operational readiness, strategic goals that support the Mission and Vision of USUHS and the GSN to over 200 students per year across the Army, Navy, Air Force and U.S. Public Health Service. He served as the Officer in Charge (OIC), Expeditionary Medical Unit Rotation 13, Erbil, Iraq and commanded the only Navy-led field hospital within the region. He Led a 51-person team that consisted of physicians, nurses, paraprofessionals, and dental personnel within the Navy, Army and multinational personnel that represented 12 countries that supported several thousand service members and government contractors. Additionally, he served as the OIC for 43 active-duty medical professionals for the Large Medical Team for Navy Medicine in support of the COVID Omicron Variant Task Force in Takoma Park, Maryland. He also served on several Aircraft carriers as the sole anesthesia provider to include the Fukushima Nuclear plant disaster in Japan in 2011.
