Christi T. Nguyen is the Associate Chief Nursing Officer of Nursing Excellence at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She oversees Clinical Education and Professional Development, Practice Transition Program, Magnet, Nursing Research and Professional Practice. She also serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor with the University of Texas at Arlington College of Nursing and Health Innovation’s MSN Nursing Administration and DNP program. She serves as the American Organization for Nursing Leadership Region 7 Board Director, North Central Organization for Nursing Leadership Board Director and DFW Great 100 Board President-Elect. She is on the Education Committee with the Texas Organization for Nursing Leadership and the American College of Healthcare Executives North Texas Chapter. She is an experienced nurse leader in the inpatient and ambulatory settings holding prior leadership positions in community, safety net and academic medical centers. Dr. Nguyen has worked in multiple areas of nursing, including oncology, home health, hospice, case management, wound and ostomy nurse and risk management. Dr. Nguyen holds a DNP from Texas Christian University and MSN, MHA and BSN from the University of Texas at Arlington.
