Anna E. Schoenbaum serves as the Vice President of Applications and Digital Health at Penn Medicine (University of Pennsylvania Health System). In this role, she leads initiatives dedicated to enhancing the health ecosystem through various applications and digital solutions, with a particular focus on advancing health and advocating for health equity. She also serves as adjunct faculty at the University of Maryland School of Nursing. She is the co-chair of the HIMSS Nursing Innovation Advisory Workgroup; a member of the HIMSS Provider Executive Summit and the CXO Experience Advisory Board; an executive board member of the Maryland Chapter of HIMSS; a member of the ANA Precision Health Workgroup; a member of the ANCC Nursing Informatics Content Expert Panel; and a member of the Microsoft Nurse Executive Co-Innovation Forum. In recognition of her significant contributions to the Health IT field, Dr. Schoenbaum was awarded the 2023 HIMSS and ANI Changemaker Nursing Informatics Award. Dr. Schoenbaum holds a DNP and an MS from the University of Maryland, and a BS from the Medical College of Georgia.
