Dr. Wu is currently Vice President and Professor, School of Nursing at the National Taipei University of Nursing and Health Sciences in Taipei, Taiwan.

As NTUNHS Vice president and Director of Research and Development, Dr. Wu promotes international partnerships, the international exchange of students, and the internationalization of nursing. She established the Taiwan-Indonesia Health Care Education Center to promote exchanges between health care partner schools and industry. During 2015-2017 Wu served as the university representative to the APEC delegation with her university being only three universities that were visited in Taiwan. In 2018, she serves as the director for the Higher Education Sprout Project subsidized by the Ministry of Education. Wu established and directs the Research Center for Healthcare Industry Innovation which cooperates with policy makers, and scholars to focus on precision care research. The Center includes 6 doctoral researchers and 12 professors. Over 10 years, Wu has secured USD $260,000 from the Ministry of Science and Technology programs and USD $160,000 from industry-academia programs. She has published 100+ scholarly papers in Taiwanese and international journals. She developed the Chinese version: Diabetes Management Self-Efficacy Scale. Two hundred researchers in 20 countries have requested the instrument. Dr. Wu has been awarded three outstanding alumni awards and was awarded the Taiwan Union of Nurses Association Professional Contribution Award.

Dr. Wu received a BSN from the Taipei Medical College, MSN from the National Yang-Ming University, Taipei, Taiwan, and Ph.D. from the Queensland University of Technology, School of Nursing.
