Dr. Jessica Peck is an expert faculty scholar, pediatric clinician and policy advocate who provides innovative, visionary, and award-winning leadership to develop and lead inclusive and diverse interprofessional teams to improve health outcomes for vulnerable populations. Dr. Peck is currently a Clinical Professor of Nursing at Baylor University in Dallas, Texas. An accomplished professional organization leader, she is currently President of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners.

Dr. Peck is a recognized and published national expert on human trafficking. She served as founding Chair of the Alliance for Children in Trafficking, a nurse-led, interprofessional, national coalition in which she engaged other national leaders to respond to child trafficking. She serves as Lead Medical Consultant for Unbound Houston and helped create a statewide continuing education and pass legislation mandating CE for all direct care providers in Texas. She is a consultant to the Office of Trafficking in Persons. Her work has resulted in significant and measurable impacts including nursing influence to set new state and national healthcare standards, wide dissemination of interprofessional educational programs, and expanded public and professional understanding.

Dr. Peck travels nationally to speak about technology in nursing education and practice, including health impacts of social media use. As a nurse and mother of four children, she has special interest in educating and equipping families to promote physical, emotional, mental, social and spiritual health. She is an accomplished author and frequent guest on radio and television to promote child health.
