Pei-Fan Mu is a distinguished Professor, Institute of Clinical Nursing at the National Yang-Ming University. She also services as Director of JBI Excellent Center in Taiwan at National Yang-Ming University. Additionally, she is deputy president of Taiwan Evidence-based Nurses Association.

Prof. Mu has serviced as Director of Taiwan JBI Excellent Center for 15 years. She established the Taiwan JBI excellent center as an interdisciplinary center, and recognized Taipei Veteran General Hospital as clinical partner. She regularly holds JBI CSR courses and Evidence implementation course each year for the master program, PhD program, DNP program students and faculties. She invited many international EBP experts visit Taiwan to promote EBP. She keeps connecting with national policy, based on JBI evidence utilization and evidence implementation, totally, she received seven national level grands from Ministry of Nursing and Welfare. A three years clinical guideline development grands, five evidence implementation grands for promote and prevent disability of elderly in community, and one year national grand of develop clinical guidelines and education program for nursing institution. On 2018, she serviced as Deputy Chair of JBI Asia Region. On 2019, she served as Chair of JBI Asia Region.

She has serviced as Deputy President as well as the chairman of international affairs committee of Taiwan Evidence-based Nursing Association for 10 years. She introduced Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI), Cochrane Nursing Care Field, GRADE, GIN et al perspectives into Taiwan. She regularly holds JBI CSR course and Evidence implementation course each year, to cultivate EBP teachers on the hospital around Taiwan.

Prof. Mu completed her BSN at Taipei Medical University. She completed her both MS degrees and PhD degrees at University of Minnesota. She also completed the JBI Comprehensive Systematic Review train-the-trainer certificate and Clinical Fellowship from the Joanna Briggs Institute.
