Qian Lu is a Professor at the Peking University School of Nursing, Vice-Chair of Continue Education Working Committee of Chinese Nursing Association, Vice-Chair of Nursing Professional Committee of China Medical Education Association, Deputy Leader of Nutritional Risk - Undernutrition - Support - Outcome- Cost Effective (NUSOC) Multi-center Shared Database Collaboration Group of Chinese Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (CSPEN) of Chinese Medical Association, Member of Cancer Nutrition Professional Committee and Cancer Nursing Professional Committee of China Anti-Cancer Association, Member of Lymphatic Disease Professional Committee of Chinese Medical Doctor Association Professional Committee of endovascular, Member of Surgical Nursing Professional Committee of Chinese Nursing Association.

As one of the leaders in nursing education in China, she has devoted to teaching reform with a focus on curriculum construction and resource development. She chief-edited more than ten surgical nursing textbooks, built several national-level excellent courses, and shared the teaching achievements and experiences with the peers to improve the level of nursing education in China. As a nursing researcher and leader, she leads the research team to focus on oncology clinical nursing research, such as breast cancer-related lymphedema and nutrition management in head and neck cancer under radiotherapy, and provided practical assessment tools and solutions/strategies for clinical practice and promote the evidence-based nursing practice.

Dr. Lu received a BSN from Shanghai Medical University, MSN from Beijing Medical University, and PhD in Nutrition from Peking University.
