Marianne Davies

Marianne Davies is an Associate Professor at Yale School of Nursing and an Oncology Nurse Practitioner at Yale Comprehensive Cancer Center.

Dr. Davies’ career in oncology nursing has spanned more than 30 years. Her clinical expertise is in medical oncology with a concentration in Thoracic malignancies. Her specialization is in the advancement of novel therapeutics, such as immunotherapy and genomic guided targeted therapies, and management of treatment associated toxicities. Dr. Davies brings this expertise to the Yale School of Nursing, coordinating the Oncology Nurse Practitioner Concentration.

She is a member of the Advanced Practitioner Society for Hematology and Oncology (APSHO), Oncology Nursing Society (ONS), International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer (IASLC), International Thoracic Oncology Nursing Forum (ITONF), Society for Immunotherapy of Cancer (SITC), Association of Community Care Centers Institute for Clinical Immuno-Oncology (ICLIO), National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) and AIM with Immunotherapy Foundation. She serves on the Immunotherapy Guideline Development Boards of SITC and NCCN. She serves on the education steering committees of IASLC and ICLIO. Her work has been disseminated multiple peer-reviewed publications and chapters in seminal oncology textbooks. She has presented extensively on the topics of lung cancer, immunotherapy, targeted therapy and symptom management nationally and internationally.

Dr. Davies received her BSN from Russell-Sage College, her MSN with a specialty of Oncology Clinical Nurse Specialist and Post-Masters Certificate as Acute Care Nurse Practitioner from Yale University School of Nursing. She later earned her DNP from MGH Institute of Health Professions.
