Sandra Davidson is Dean and Professor in the Faculty of Nursing at the University of Calgary.

As a nursing leader, Dr. Davidson has co-created over 10 innovation-grounded educational programs that optimize the use of technology and pioneering andragogies increasing learner engagement & educational outcomes, such as game-based learning. She has published texts, chapters, and journal articles; educated and mentored hundreds of nurse leaders that range from novice to expert levels, building on the new leadership paradigm guiding clinical practice inside complex adaptive health networks. As a highly regarded global thought leader and futurist, she has presented these new learning, leading, and practice technologies at national and international forums with academic and practice leaders from around the world.

Dr. Davidson received her Nursing Diploma from Lethbridge College and then a BN from University of Lethbridge in Alberta, Canada. She studied at Gonzaga University where she received an MSN and a PhD in Leadership Studies.
